This is our family. We were married August 3, 2004 in Vegas. We then quickly packed up our little property we had in Manhattan, Kansas and took off to Seattle. After three years of being depleted of sunlight in Seattle we had to move somewhere warm and sunny. That place for us was San Antonio, TX. On March 29, 2006 we had the most memorable and precious moment of our lives happen, our son was born. We named him Elias Michael. Now, everything seems to revolve around what is going to make Eli happy and a good person. With it only being the two of us here taking care of Eli it makes it a little harder for our couples time. But, we try to get out when we can (i.e. family visits...haha). Mike works very hard for USAA is what I consider a workaholic, though he loves his work! I am a stay at home mommy and I love watching our son. Eli is a very happy and energetic little boy who loves the dogs, Vinny and Indy! He’s very smart and can say words such as “mama”, “dada”, “yellow”, “Seattle”, “papa” (grandpa), “Vinny” and “hello”. One of Eli’s favorite toys is a teddy bear in his bed that he cuddles, wrestles, and kisses every night. He is a joy and the funniest little man ever! In the Cairns family, we really love our two dogs. Vinny is a 5 year old Italian Greyhound. Indy is a 4 year old Chihuahua. I would have to say these two really do have a love hate relationship. Actually it’s just Indy who does the growling, though Indy loves his “brother”. Their favorite things to do are go on walks, get a “Cookie” and go for rides. It is really cute to watch Eli and Vinny interact because they seem to really love each other. We even caught Eli giving Vinny a hug the other day. |
